Career Counseling 

Fifty-minute individual appointments are available, allowing you to explore, discuss, and make decisions about your career and employment options or seek assistance in making a career transition.

Choosing an Academic Major

The administration and interpretation of tests that inventory interests, skills, values, and personality (including the Strong Interest and Inventory, Skill Scan, and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator) are available to help you explore your unique qualities and identify the best options for you.

Internship and Full-time Employment

FutureLinks, Pitt’s online job and internship search and career management system, allows you to search and apply for full-time and part-time jobs, and internships online; and monitor upcoming career/job fairs.

Resume and Cover Letter Writing

You will learn how to write effective professional correspondence including resumes and curricula vitae, cover letters, thank you notes, e-mails, and professional correspondence.
