Blackboard Assistance

The Faculty Instructional Development Lab (FIDL) staff is available to assist you with your Blackboard-related needs. They are all responsible for accessing the shared e-mail account, courseweb@cidde.pitt.edu, so it is the most effective way to request services. Other contact information can be found on the CIDDE Web site.

Computer Assistance

Any problems with accounts, PeopleSoft, and my.pitt.edu should be directed to the CSSD Help Desk at 412-624-HELP or online.

Using PeopleSoft

For help accessing student rosters or assigning grades, please visit your my.pitt.edu portal and visit the “Using PeopleSoft Self Service” instructions tab. Here you will find a variety of instructions designed to help you manage your classes, input grades, etc.

Testing

CIDDE offers distance learners flexibility in where and when course-specific supervised exams are administered. Testing for online courses offered through the College of General Studies may be coordinated for you by Testing Services on the 8th floor of the Alumni Hall (formerly Masonic Temple) in Oakland. Students can elect to take supervised exams in Oakland or at any one of 10 off-campus testing sites when they fill out a Test Site Selection form.

Faculty Identification

Replace your lost or stolen Panther Card at Panther Central in the Litchfield Towers Lobby from 7:30 a.m. - 10 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
