Technology Training Courses

Overview / Courses

Increase productivity. Work more efficiently. Save time and money. Our knowledgeable instructors and small class size enable you to make productive use of your learning time. And you can fit training into your work schedule by choosing courses scheduled for one full day or two half days.

These technology courses are offered exclusively to University of Pittsburgh staff and faculty. All courses are held in room 423 of the Cathedral of Learning.

Custom Training

In addition to the courses listed below, the College of General Studies provides additional custom technology training options. For example, if you do not see a course you need among our listings we may be able to accommodate your department by setting up training for any number of people in the course that you need.  Also, if five or more people in your department have similar training needs, you can schedule a group class at a discounted rate.  For information about custom training call us at 412-624-6600 or send an e-mail to cgs@pitt.edu.

Workshops

After completing one of our courses, you may attend one related workshop to gain additional practice and assistance. Workshops are designed to answer specific troubleshooting questions, not to provide a general overview of material taught in a related course.  Workshops are free of charge and are available only to those who have completed at least one of the related technology training courses within the past year.
